This recommended practice provides guidelines that will help operators of hazardous liquid pipelines to develop and enhance their public awareness programs. These guidelines will also help to establish consistency among the public awareness programs throughout the industry.

This recommended practice is a basic guide and information resource for activities to assist in providing increased assurance of a pipeline system’s integrity. It covers design and construction considerations; system monitoring and controls; corrosion controls; inspections, reviews and audits; and damage prevention.

This standard covers the gas and arc welding of butt, fillet and socket welds in carbon and low-alloy steel piping used inthe compression, pumping, and transmission of crude petroleum, petroleum products, fuel gases, carbon dioxide, nitrogen and, where applicable, covers welding on distribution systems.

This standard is specifically designed to provide the operator with a description of industry proven practices in pipeline integrity management. This standard covers storage vessels, loading and unloading systems, piping, or and related equipment.

This inspection code covers the maintenance inspection, repair, alteration, and rerating procedures for pressure vessels used by the petroleum and chemical process industries.

API 570 covers inspection, repair, alteration, and rerating procedures for metallic piping systems that have been in-service.

This standardprovides  dimensions for operating line blanks (or “blinds”) in sizes NPS 95 through NPS 24 for installation between ANSI B16.5 flanges  in the 150, 300, 600, 900, 1500, and 2500 pound pressure classes. The dimensions are suitable for blanks  made of  ten  different  steel plate materials. Line blanks usedonly for pressure testing are not part of this standard.

This standard covers design, material, face-to-face dimen-sions, pressure-temperature ratings, and examination, inspec-tion, and test requirements for gray iron, ductile iron, steel,and alloy single and dual plate check valves. Valve configurations include wafer, wafer-lug, and double flanged type witfacings that will permit installation between ASME and MSSflanges that conform to the standards and specifications listin section 2

This International Standard specifies the requirements or a heavy duty series of bolted bonnet steel gate valves forpetroleum refiney and related applications where corrosion, erosion and other service conditions indicate a needfor full port openings, heavy wall sections and extra large stem diameters.
